The main characters are these:
Jack, he is a pirate, Captain of the Black Pearl, he is funny.
Barbosa is a pirate captain also but he is not funny.
William but luckily an English ship rescued him, Elizabeth was there the boy fell in love with.
Elizabeth is the daughter of the president of England is going to marry of Norrington but falls in love with William.
What I believe:
I liked the book because I like the stories of pirate adventures and similar. I understood almost everything. Sure that the full version of the book is better
